The homes in downtown Greenville are mostly condominiums. Single home residences are located close by in the Hampton-Pinkney, West End & Overbrooke Historic districts, and the Augusta Road and North Main areas. Greenville Drive Single A baseball team is a farm team of the Boston Red Sox and the games at Fluor Field, a miniature version of Fenway in Boston - complete with Green Monster, are a big hit. Downtown has undergone a makeover to achieve better pedestrian traffic with angled parking and a thousand stylish lampposts along Main Street. Additional draws for the downtown area include: Peace Center for Performing Arts, Children’s Garden, USA Cycling Championships for the past 3 years, Home of Artisphere…a weekend of artists and their booths each spring.
